Day 7!! To be continued!!

Last day of the trip, after we had the breakfast in the hotel, we started visit different places according to the team.

Eastern culture Team: Tianzifang and Xiantiandi

We visited Tianzifang after gathering at the hotel lobby. Traveling by Shanghai Metro to the assigned location. Tianzifang is a place with old Shanghai style buildings. In the past, it was a place built up with the French Concession expansion architecture. At the place, we found a lot of souvenirs with Shanghai characteristics. We also tried out some of the well known local food and drinks.

In Xiantiandi which is a urban attraction that holds the historical and cultural legacies of the city as residential buildings of local citizens. The building represents modern Shanghai history and culture. So we took a lot of great photos there.

Western culture team: Shanghai Old Street and City God Temple

We first visited the City God temple, there are lots of shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the food there and took away lots of local food such as soup dumpling, yogurt, Pan-fried bun. Especially the soup dumplings! We finally can take a sip of the traditional shanghai soup dumplings!

In Shanghai Old Street, it is a combination of business street and tourist attractions. The architecture and the layout of the shops in this street show its development that began during the Ming Dynasty. We found a lot of fin in there.

Nanjing Road

We went to Nanjing East Road to have our lunch. We went to the famous restaurant 老盛昌 to have the steamed soup dumpling and some other Shanghai food. After having the lunch, we went shopping and buy some souvenirs.

Despite the journey ended, however our spirits would never end. Coming up there are launching in Sharing, Exhibition, Documentary and Micro-film so keep an eye on our website!
